Using Kinetic Task with Kinetic Survey (April 21, 2014)

Kinetic Task is a workflow process engine that can be added to nearly any software application. While well known for working with Kinetic Request, it takes just a few easy steps to make it work with Kinetic Survey.

BMC ITSM7 Change Status Update (April 10, 2014)

Download this file to update the status and status reason, if needed, for a specific BMC ITSM7 Change (CHG:Infrastructure Change) request. Depending on the Status provided, a Status Reason might be necessary. The status and status reason combination should be valid per the system/workflow.

Kinetic Survey v5.1.3 Released (April 8, 2014)

Use these instructions and links to download and install Kinetic Request/Survey v5.1.3, or to upgrade an existing Kinetic Request/Survey system to v5.1.3. Note: Kinetic Request and Kinetic Survey use the same files and follow the same installation/upgrade procedure. The information provided here applies to both applications.

Majority Approval Task Process Example (March 19, 2014)

This example shows how to have an approval process that allows a majority vote or consensus for the task tree to continue on. Sometimes you may want to send an approval request to multiple people and based on how many of the approvers vote to either approve or deny the request that determines whether the request is actually approved or denied.

Active Directory Distribution List Member Retrieve (March 19, 2014)

Retrieves a comma delimited list of e-mail addresses (Belonging to People objects) that belong to a specified Distribution Group. This handler will use the server information and user credentials configured in the task info values to authenticate and connect to the specified Active Directory server (using LDAP) and search for the distribution group on the search parameters provided.
