Careers at Kinetic Data
We are a Minneapolis software company, founded in 1998, that makes one product: Kinetic. Agencies, school districts, credit unions and large enterprises use it to build the applications and workflows their systems of record don't provide. We hire a few people at a time and every one of them shapes the product.
The work
Our software runs provisioning at USDA, recruiting at Army INSCOM and IT requests for every school in Fairfax County. When it is slow or wrong, people notice the same day.
We are a product company. Customers pay for the software, and we would rather ship a feature than staff a project around its absence.

The workflow engine, the integration layer, the MCP server, and the deployment tooling that has to work in an air-gapped data center as well as in our cloud.

Deciding what the platform should do next, and making a form builder and workflow editor that a business analyst can use without a manual.

Sitting with a customer's team, mapping a process that crosses four systems, and getting the first version into production.

Working with agencies, enterprises and system integrators who are deciding what to build and what to buy.
