Integration Framework
Connect your systems without replacing them
Kinetic's integration framework links your existing systems of record into orchestrated workflows through 100+ pre-built connectors and a REST-based framework. Your systems stay in place. Kinetic connects and coordinates them.
The problem
Integration should connect systems, not create new dependencies
Most enterprises have spent years and millions of dollars building their system landscape. The problem is not the systems themselves — it is the gaps between them. Work falls through the cracks at system boundaries. Data lives in silos. Users navigate multiple tools to complete a single process.
The typical response is to over-customize one platform (usually ServiceNow or Salesforce) to do everything, or to build fragile point-to-point integrations that break when either system changes. Both approaches create more lock-in and more maintenance burden.
Kinetic takes a different approach. The integration framework connects your systems from above, using standardized connectors that abstract the complexity of each system's API. Your systems of record keep doing what they do well. Kinetic handles the coordination between them.
Integration categories
Pre-built connectors for the systems enterprise and government organizations rely on, plus a REST-based framework for everything else.
ITSM & Service Management
ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, BMC Helix, Jira Service Management, Cherwell. Create tickets, update records, query status, and synchronize data across your service management ecosystem.
HR & Identity
Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Active Directory, Okta, Azure AD, PingIdentity. Automate user provisioning, access management, onboarding, and offboarding across HR and identity systems.
Cloud & Infrastructure
AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, Terraform. Provision resources, manage infrastructure, and coordinate cloud operations as steps within broader workflow orchestrations.
Custom & REST APIs
Any system with a REST API can be connected through the integration framework. Configure endpoints, authentication, data mapping, and error handling without writing custom integration code.
How it works
Connectors that abstract system complexity
Each connector in the integration framework handles the specifics of communicating with a particular system — authentication, API versioning, data formats, pagination, rate limiting, and error handling. Workflow builders do not need to understand the details of each system's API. They configure what they want to happen (create a ticket, provision a user, update a record) and the connector handles how.
When a system upgrades its API, you update the connector — not every workflow that uses it. This isolation is what prevents the brittle, tightly coupled integrations that plague most enterprise environments. You can swap out a backend system without rewriting workflows or disrupting the user experience.
Frequently asked questions
Kinetic includes over 100 pre-built connectors covering ITSM, HR, identity, cloud infrastructure, ERP, collaboration, and more. The library is continuously expanding, and the REST-based framework lets you connect to any system with an API even if a pre-built connector does not exist yet.
The integration framework includes a generic REST connector that works with any system exposing a REST API. You configure the endpoint, authentication method, request and response mapping, and error handling. For SOAP-based or legacy systems, custom connectors can be built using the connector development framework.
No. Kinetic connects to systems through their existing APIs and interfaces. Your systems of record do not need modifications, plugins, or agents installed. The integration framework communicates with each system using its standard API, the same way any authorized client would.
Integration credentials are stored encrypted and managed through the platform's administration console. Role-based access controls determine which users and workflows can invoke which connectors. All integration calls are logged for audit purposes, and credential rotation can be performed without modifying workflows.
