What’s New at Kinetic: Building Smart in 2026

At Kinetic, we believe the future of Business Process Management isn’t bigger—it’s smarter.

At Kinetic, we believe the future of Business Process Management isn’t bigger—it’s smarter.

For years, BPM has been synonymous with massive overhauls, multi-year roadmaps, and “big-bang” transformations that promise everything and deliver… eventually. The problem is that modern organizations don’t operate on static timelines anymore. Priorities shift. Systems evolve. AI shows up overnight. And the cost of standing still keeps rising.

The teams that thrive today aren’t the ones with the most comprehensive diagrams. They’re the ones that can adapt quickly, deliver value early, and evolve continuously—without rebuilding everything from scratch.

That belief sits at the core of what we’re building at Kinetic.

Every update we ship—whether it’s simplifying how workflows are built, lowering the barrier to automation, or improving how teams learn and scale—is designed around one principle: make change safe, fast, and repeatable. Not as a special initiative, but as a built-in capability.

Because the future of BPM isn’t about managing processes.

It’s about enabling momentum.

New: Low-Code Workflow Builder

Quickly select the action you need for the node of your workflow.Click. Configure. Automate.

Our final major update of 2025 introduces a new Low-Code Workflow Builder designed to make orchestration faster, clearer, and more accessible—without sacrificing power.

With this update, builders can now:

  • Select values from intelligent dropdowns instead of memorizing syntax
  • Build logic visually, without scripting for common patterns
  • Drag, drop, and configure reusable workflow components
  • Stay focused on outcomes, not implementation details

New builders can get productive faster, experimenting and delivering value without fear. Experienced developers still retain full control, with the ability to drop into advanced logic, custom code, and integrations whenever the use case demands it.

The result is a workflow experience that scales with your team: approachable on day one, powerful over time, and grounded in real-world orchestration—not toy automations.

What’s Next: A Completely Reimagined Builder Experience

The Low-Code Workflow Builder is just the starting point.

As we look ahead to early 2026, we’re rolling out a fully redesigned Builder experience—one that reflects how modern teams actually work.

Today, even powerful platforms slow teams down with fractured interfaces: one screen for forms, another for workflows, another for logic, another for permissions. Every small change becomes a scavenger hunt.

The new Builder workspace brings everything together.

Forms, workflows, logic, and security live side by side in a single, unified environment—so you can build, adjust, and iterate without losing context.

With the new experience, you’ll be able to:

  • Pick up exactly where you left off

  • Move fluidly between related components

  • See how changes ripple across the full process in real time

This isn’t a cosmetic refresh. It’s a structural shift toward clarity, responsiveness, and continuous iteration—the foundations of BPM Reimagined.

Because enabling change shouldn’t require a project plan.

It should simply be… built in.

Enablement for the Next Era of Process Control

As organizations move deeper into AI-assisted operations, hybrid environments, and cross-platform orchestration, expectations on teams keep rising. Move faster. Do more with less. Stay compliant. Don’t break anything.

That kind of pressure can’t be solved by software alone.

To succeed, teams need confidence, context, and support—not just features.

That’s why in 2026 we’re investing heavily in enablement as a first-class strategy, not an afterthought. Our goal is simple: help customers and partners take control of complexity, instead of being buried by it.

What that looks like in practice:

  • Repeatable onboarding paths so new builders ramp quickly and safely

  • Role-based learning tracks for admins, developers, and business users

  • A growing library of templates for workflows, UI patterns, and integrations

  • Clearer documentation, guided walkthroughs, and AI-assisted support

The philosophy is intentionally human-centric. We’re not asking anyone to become an expert overnight. We’re creating room to explore, iterate, and deliver value quickly—with guardrails where they matter and freedom where they count.

Looking Ahead

BPM doesn’t fail because teams lack ambition.

It fails when change feels risky, slow, or prohibitively expensive.

What we’re building at Kinetic is an alternative to that pattern: a platform where small teams can move fast, scale responsibly, and keep control—over their experiences, their processes, and their future.

2026 is about building smarter.

Not bigger. Not heavier.

Just better ways to make work flow.
